TortoiseSVN is a control / manager app for Windows that handles your sources and versioning and revisions. It is based on, but not a clone of, Subversion. TSVN has a wonderful interface with Subversion that is easy to use and a nice experience overall. TSVN has all of the features that you will find in Subversion, and much more. System commits are at the atomic level. Versioning occurs with files and renames, but also directories and file meta-data. You can also code up new applications with TSVN because TSVN is freeware, open sourced, so that you can get the source to inhance TSVN if you wish. TSVN is GPL developed code and you can use it with no restrictions at all. TSVN deals easily with binary files. Manages operations like branching and tagging inexpensively with resources. You can employ any tools to develop code.
